NEW GOOGLE FEATURE
WILL HELP US
VETERANS FIND JOBS Google wants to help military veterans make a better transition back
to civilian life. Grow with Google, the company's career development program, has added a new
feature as part of this initiative. Veterans can now find jobs relevant to
the skills they learned while serving in the military. All they have to do is enter the phrase,
"jobs for veterans," along with their
military job codes into Google's search engine. Employers and job boards can also enable the
feature by using Google's Cloud Talent Solution. In addition, veterans who have founded,
own or lead a business can now identify
themselves on Google My Business. Google also stated that its charity
organization, Google.org, will give
$2.5 million to the United Service Organizations
to prepare veterans for entry-level IT support jobs.
