ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Sunday said Pakistan would promote relations with the United States based on mutual trust, respect and dignity.

“Pakistan-US relations were at standstill when the new government came to power as the previous government did nothing to improve them,” he said while talking to media in Islamabad.
