North Korea's Foundation Day celebrations are coming up in a few days.
And it's being reported that Pyongyang has not extended an invitation to South Korea.
Several foreign delegations from countries friendly to the communist state have been invited to the number of major celebratory events on September 9th.
But according to Seoul's Unification Ministry South Korea is not among them.
The ministry's spokesperson added the opening of the Inter-Korean joint liaison office is expected to be scheduled after President Moon's special delegation visits North Korea on Wednesday.
