A hit-and-run car dragged a motorcycle along a road in flames after a crash in southern China’s Chongqing City on August 20.
Video shows a car pushing a motorcycle underneath it along a road as both are in flames and leaving a trail of sparks on the ground.
According to reports, the car driver speeded up to drive away after he crashed into the motorbike.
The motorcyclist was thrown out onto the side of the road, but the motorbike got stuck underneath the car and was pulled along. The fire was caused by friction and leaking petrol burst out of two vehicles, local media said.
The driver of the car jumped out of the vehicle.
The two persons involved were not injured seriously.
Police fined the driver of the car and took points from his licence. They also detained him for more than 10 days, local media reported.
