Construction work on the 28‑storey luxury hotel and convention centre along Suva’s McGregor Road by WG International Real Estate Company Fiji Limited is still continuing with the company saying they have never received an order to stop work at the site from the Suva City Council.

There have been claims about the Suva City Council issuing a order to stop work at the site after claims about structural steel frames corroding at the building site and also the materials not being up to standard.
