美국무부 "한반도 평화체제 노력은 완전한 비핵화 진전에 달려"
Improvement in Seoul-Pyeongyang ties must be in "lock step" with progress towards the denuclearization of North Korea.
That's coming from the U.S. State Department in a reply to a request by Radio Free Asia, for a review on the English version of the Panmunjom declaration uploaded to the UN this month.
The focus was specifically on the part about working to declare the end to the Korean War before the year is up.
The department is also known to have pointed out that "efforts toward a lasting peace regime are dependent on progress toward complete denuclearization."
