A crew from Moody Air Force Base in Georgia conducted a “familiarization” flight over the Myrtle Beach area on Sunday, September 16, to prepare for any rescue missions for which they may be called.
The Moody crew had been moved to Joint Base Charleston before Hurricane Florence made landfall. Florence has been downgraded to a tropical depression, but the slow-moving storm is still inundating the Carolinas with torrential rains. Credit: Moody Air Force Base/Staff Sgt.
