The miraculous moment a pod of dolphins speeds alongside a kayaker off the coast of Cornwall, England.

"I was joined by a pod of about twenty Common Dolphins who swam beside me for several minutes," said the delighted paddler.

"I was thrilled to see it was a nursery group containing half a dozen calves. The calves jumped with as much relish as their mothers and on several occasions I was actually splashed."

"One mother seemed to be accompanied by two calves of a similar size and I wondered whether these were twins."

The clip was filmed near Penzance on September 14.
