Nobody likes it when their car makes a funny noise, but it’s even more disconcerting when that noise is a meow!

Jake DePrato drove to Baton Rouge to meet his girlfriend Kendall and heard an unusual sound as he stepped out of his truck. A poor cat had got stuck in the grille of Kendall’s car and had managed to hold on as she drove an hour to meet Jake.

With a little help from Jake’s parents they were able to take apart Kendall’s car and safely remove the cat. They placed it in a carrier bag and feed it food and water. A little frightened but unharmed, the cat was then returned to its family. Credit: Jake DePrato via Storyful
