Fire crews responded to a large fire at an auto scrapyard in Mississauga on the evening of Thursday, September 20.

According to local media, responders arrived at the scene at Mavis Road and Central Parkway around 7 pm, where the massive fire was burning. Smoke plumes could be seen from miles away.

No cause of the fire was announced at the time of writing and no injuries were reported.

The fire was still active as of 8 pm.
