There were chaotic scenes as former leader of the far-right English Defence League Tommy Robinson entered the Old Bailey court in London to face a retrial against charges of contempt of court.
Robinson was jailed for 13 months earlier in May for live streaming from a child grooming court case in Leeds that had strict reporting restrictions. A high court appeal in August saw him released to stand trial again.
Several hundred supporters of Robinson turned up at the court and invaded the road. Flags of far-right political parties like For Britain Movement and UKIP were seen in the crowd, including a flag of extremist group Generation Identity.
