U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton has reaffirmed President Donald Trump's statement on his planned second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
Speaking on a local radio show on Friday,... Bolton said he thinks the summit will take place (quote) "sometime in the next couple of months," but it depends on President Trump's diplomatic efforts to convince North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons.
Bolton said the regime should "denuclearize completely and irreversibly" and if they can do that... "the future could be very different for the North Korean people."
Bolton's remarks come after President Trump told reporters this week that the summit will be held after the November 6th midterms.
