KARNATAKA, INDIA — A 60-year-old man in India wormed his way in to see a doctor because his eye was constantly hurting and itching.
According to the Sun, when the doctor went in for a look, he found out what was causing the discomfort — a parasitic worm chilling in the man's eye.
Using forceps, the doctor carefully extracted a 15-cm long parasitic ringworm from the man's eye socket. Yummy.
Good thing it was removed too, otherwise the patient may have gone blind.
The entire surgical process was filmed and shared on social media.
The doctor thinks that a mosquito may have passed on the worm larvae when it bit the patient.
