Aram…. the investigation is intensifying and escalating diplomatic tensions….what's the latest.

Well Mark… President Trump made the speculation of "rogue killers" after his phone call with King Salman on Monday, during which he said the Saudi leader flatly denied allegations of murder.

"We are going to leave nothing uncovered. With that being said, the king firmly denied any knowledge of it. He didn't really know, maybe, I don't want to get into his mind, but it sounded to me like maybe these could have been rogue killers, who knows?...."

Meanwhile, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is on his way to Saudi Arabia to meet the king on President Trump's orders.
Riyadh has repeatedly rejected as lies Turkish claims that Jamal Khashoggi was killed inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul over two weeks ago.
Turkish officials say they have audio evidence the outspoken critic of the Saudi leadership was murdered.
The Saudis are yet to provide evidence of their claims he had left the building shortly after entering.
However, CNN reported Monday, citing two unidentified sources, that Riyadh is preparing a report that would say Khashoggi was killed as the result of a botched interrogation.
One source noted that the report was subject to change, but the other source said it could conclude that the operation was carried out without clearance and that those involved will be held responsible.
