Saudi Arabia has admitted journalist Jamal Khashoggi died after a fight in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
Quoting an initial probe,... Saudi state TV reported the country's deputy intelligence chief and a senior aide to Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, were dismissed over the affair.
Eighteen Saudi citizens have also been detained in connection with the death.
U.S. President Donald Trump says he wants to talk to the crown prince before taking any next steps, but called it "very important" the kingdom made arrests.
Trump added he'd prefer "some form of sanction" on Saudi Arabia while protecting Washington's arms sales to Riyadh.
Khashoggi, an outspoken critic of the Saudi government, went missing early this month, sparking a wave of international condemnation against the kingdom.
