ACC football refs proved they can take a hit and keep on going. For the second-straight week, an ACC referee took a hard hit and bounced right back up. Saturday, Syracuse running back Moe Neal leveled a ref during a 24-yard run. The week before, on October 13th vs. Miami, Virginia defensive back Juan Thornhill knocked the head ref to the ground on a long interception return. Both referees bounced back up and stayed in the game.
