Karur district in Tamil Nadu came to a halt as TN Transport Minister M R Vijaybhaskar holds a 2 day family event. Chief Minister EPS and Deputy Chief Minister OPS are expected to participate in the event. Massive arrangement have been made for the event by erecting a Pandal in 5 acres and around 1 lakh people have been invited for the 2 day ceremony. Madras High Court order banning cut outs and banners have been violated and sources say schools/colleges have been forced to send their buses to ferry people from different locations.
