A five-month-old child in Oklahoma recently suffered a fatal heart attack and was found to be severely malnourished, reports KOCO. The boy was taken to an area hospital on October 19 after being found unresponsive. Oklahoma City Police Spokesperson Officer Megan Morgan told KFOR: "Unfortunately, the 5-month-old baby actually died. That's where the investigation began, into what happened to that child. While speaking with the parents, they found out the baby actually has a twin brother that was at home." According to the police, the surviving child was determined to be severely malnourished as well. He was hospitalized and taken into the custody of the state. Both parents were arrested on counts of child neglect.
