The stage is set for Tamil Nadu politics. The fate of the 18 disqualified AIADMK MLAs is set to be decided today at 10:30am. Justice M Sathyanarayanan will deliver his verdict today. He is the third judge appointed by Supreme Court in the case. He reserved his verdict in the case on August 31st in September 2017 Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker P. Dhanapal disqualified 18 dissenting AIADMK MLAs. The MLAs who supported TTV Dinakaran then approached Madras High Court. Today, if the disqualification is upheld, 18 constituencies will fall vacant until further orders and if the court sets aside the disqualification, DMK or TTV's party can issue no confidence motion against TN govt.
