Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s Statue of Unity. The inaugural event took place in Gujarat’s Kevadiya on Wednesday. "Today is an event which becomes a part of the history of a nation, which is very difficult to erase. Today will also be remembered as an important point in India’s history. This statute is dedicated to a mighty personality who helped India attain freedom. It’s my good fortune that I got to give the nation Sardar Patel’s statute."
