Ant and Dec were running a little behind schedule for this year's National Television Awards, so when they arrived, heat's very own Lucie Cave grabbed them for a quick chat to find out why on earth they were so late.

Turns out they only finished filming Britain's Got Talent—in Cardiff—at half past six this evening, so had to jump onto a private jet to make it to London in time. Luckily, the plane has some champers on ice, so it wasn't too stressful for our favourite Newscatle lads.

We didn't just natter on to them about their jet set lives though. They also filled us in about their new-found friendship with jungle favourite Joey Essex and why every year—despite always winning—they get nervous.
