A truck driver, ignoring bridge restrictions, tried to drive under a bridge in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, and wound up damaging his truck and leaving a huge queue of other drivers.
CCTV footage of the incident, which took place on Milkstone Road near Rochdale Station on July 17, shows the motorist driving on and scraping the roof of his truck off on the low railway bridge, forcing him to stop.
Drivers queue up behind him but his truck is unable to move for several minutes.
The owner of the footage, who owns a nearby store, claims this is not the only time truck drivers have failed to clear the ridge: "Over the past years 13 truck drivers ignored such restrictions."
