The Paris metro encountered a strange delay this morning (November 13), as two passengers halted Line 1 at the Tuileries station. The two? A man and a goat.
Video of the scene on the train shows police confronting the urban goatherd, attempting to talk him into relinquishing the goat, before arresting him and leading both away.
Official announcements declared a 'malevolent act' had halted the trains. Paris transport authority RATP later announced that the goat was in fact stolen, and the man reportedly attempted to flee when first confronted before being caught.
