A pair of women burgled a lighting shop in front of its oblivious owner using brazen deception tactics - by standing in the way. The duo stole from the owner's handbag then swiped cash from a drawer behind the counter, police said. Detectives shared CCTV from the shop in a bid to track two women they are hunting in connection with the incident, at Exclusive Lighting in Bexleyheath, south east London. Bexley Police said: “Police would like to identify and speak to these two Females involved in an attempted burglary and theft at 'Exclusive Lighting' on Wednesday, October 3 2018 in the afternoon. "The two females, who were described as Eastern European, employed a tactic of blocking and distraction to steal from a handbag and then one of the females tried to steal cash from a draw behind the counter whilst the other engaged with the shop owner.”
