In a revelation, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday that the Congress party offered him Rs 25 lakh to cancel one of his public meetings in Nirmal Assembly segment in Adilabad district of Telangana. While addressing a rally at Milad Gound Jalal Bagh Sangareddy constituency in Medak district, Owaisi said that a local candidate of Nirmal Assembly constituency Maheshwar Reddy offered him a bribe for not campaigning for the Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) candidate.

తెలంగాణలో అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికలు వస్తున్న నేపథ్యంలో మజ్లిస్ అధినేత సంచలన ఆరోపణలు చేశారు. టీఆర్ఎస్‌కు పరోక్ష మద్దతు ఇస్తున్న మజ్లిస్ నేత కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీపై తీవ్ర ఆరోపణలు చేశారు. ఆదిలాబాద్ జిల్లా నిర్మల్ అసెంబ్లీ సెగ్మెంట్లో ముస్లిం సామాజిక వర్గాలు అత్యధికంగా ఉన్న ప్రాంతాల్లో ప్రచారం నిర్వహించకుండా ఉండేందుకు తనకు నిర్మల్ కాంగ్రెస్ అభ్యర్థి మహేశ్వర్ రెడ్డి రూ.25 లక్షలు ఆఫర్ చేశారని అసదుద్దీన్ చెప్పారు. తన దగ్గర ఆడియో టేపులు ఉన్నట్లు అసదుద్దీన్ చెప్పారు.
