A senior French civil servant has been arrested on suspicion of spying for North Korea.

Reports say (Burr-new-ah Kay-nay-day) Bennoit Quennedey was arrested Sunday night over suspicions of collecting and delivering information to Pyeongyang,... and is being questioned by the domestic security agency.
He also serves as the president of the Franco-Korean Friendship Association,... which aims to promote closer ties with the North.
