Meek Mill Says Another Drake Collab Is ‘Possible’ The rapper revealed him and Drake on truly on good terms since their high-profile rap beef and diss tracks following their collaboration on “R.I.C.O.” During an interview with ‘Vulture’ he said the two had actually been talking “for the last year.” “Me and Drake have actually been communicating for the last year. Even before I went to prison. It was based on the right time. We ain’t have nothing going on but a rap beef, we didn’t cause harm to each other. I’m moving off love right now, so it was only proper to link with someone I actually did business with before and called my friend before.” Mill admitted the beef occurred when he was “just out of control at that point in my life.” He also said he doesn’t mind the use of ghostwriters as long as individuals aren’t claiming to be an “all-time lyricist.” “[Ghostwriters] would never hold me back from working with someone. Even Kanye admits to using writers and working with people. And Dr. Dre … like even Puff Daddy” While Mill and Drake are on good terms, he disagrees with Drake about his claim that there are rules when it comes to rap beef. “There ain’t no lines in rap beefs, never been. You speak on girlfriends, moms, dads, anything. With any beef in rap, that shit will always calm down as long as it doesn’t go to violence. It’s only words.”
