Christmas appears to have come early for this girl who was filmed taking a baby Shetland pony for a walk through the streets of Blackpool in the UK on Sunday.

The adorable creature was walking along dutifully at her owner's side while locals stopped to get a closer look.

Adult Shetland ponies range in size from a minimum height of approximately 28 inches (7.0 hands; 71 cm) to an official maximum height of 42 inches.
