Portugal and Hungary have seen a spike in interest from Korean tourists over the past year.
According to travel fare website Skyscanner, Korean internet searches for travel to Portugal from October last year to September this year increased by 93 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
Searches for Hungary saw the second highest increase, rising by 74 percent.
Skyscanner attributed Portugal and Hungary's growing popularity to recent appearances on TV entertainment programs, and to their relatively lower prices compared to other European countries.
Japan was the most searched for destination, followed by Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.
