Teng Yu-Mein was just a housewife before her visit to an Orang Asli village in 2016. Devastated by the condition of their drinking water, she decided to help them by inventing a device and filtration system that does not require electricity or tap pressure. Today, about 3,000 units have been distributed around the world, providing thousands with access to clean water.
