It's well known that the overuse of antibiotics can lead to antibiotic resistance, and even 'superbugs.'
But according to Gizmodo, researchers from Johns Hopkins have identified a more subtle consequence of antibiotic use.
Young people become at higher risk of developing serious mental illnesses, like obsessive-compulsive disorder and schizophrenia.
Based on the health histories of roughly a million Danish children, the results were startling.
