The U.S. State Department has insisted the denuclearization agreements signed by President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at their Singapore summit in June will be carried out.
Responding to North Korea's statement that the path to denuclearization could be blocked if the U.S. keeps increasing sanctions on the regime,... Washington says it remains confident the commitments made by the two leaders will be fulfilled.
According to Voice of America, the State Department said it is Kim's promise to denuclearization upon which the world is focused.
It added the goal is still to achieve the final and fully verified denuclearization of the regime as committed to by the North Korean leader.
