A pedestrian narrowly escaped death after a tree fell down behind her during rains in eastern China.

The terrifying video, filmed in Xuancheng City in eastern Anhui Province on December 7, shows a tree suddenly collapsing onto a car parked on the roadside, missing a woman with an umbrella walking by.

The pedestrian is shocked at her narrow escape and another woman can be seen quickly exiting the car.

Although two cars were damaged, no casualties were reported.
