अगले साल होने वाले आइपीएल के 12वें सत्र के लिए जयपुर में नीलामी आयोजित की गई। इस नीलामी में अनकैप्ड खिलाड़ी वरुण चक्रवती को पंजाब ने 8 करोड़ 40 लाख में खरीदा जबकि जयदेव उनादकट 8 करोड़ 40 लाख में बिके। ये दोनों इस नीलामी में बिकने वाले सबसे मंहगे खिलाड़ी रहे। विदेशी खिलाड़ियों मे सैम कुर्रन सबसे मंहगे बिके और पंजाब ने उन्हें 7 करोड़ 20 लाख में खरीदा। द. अफ्रीका के कॉलिन इंग्राम को 6 करोड़ 40 लाख में दिल्ली कैपिटल्स ने लिया।
