Good afternoon, most of Korea is choking under polluted air. We can blame fine dust particles from China and domestic air pollutants. Jeolla-do Provinces and Gwangju have been dealing with very bad air since yesterday, nearly five times worse than normal,... and fine and ultra fine dust alerts are in place for many areas.
Meanwhile, parts of Gangwon-do and Gyeongsang-do provinces have been under a dry weather alert for a few days now while Jeju Island will see 10 to 40 millimeters of showers into the evening. In fact Jeju will see frequent showers until Sunday.
The rest of the country will be under mostly sunny skies with above normal temperatures... it will feel more like mid-November this afternoon in Seoul...
getting up to 9 degrees Celsius, Gwangju will get up to 13 degrees, and it'll reach 11 degrees in Daegu.
Forecasters are saying we'll have to wait until next Monday to see better air and that's when the temperatures will plunge.
That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
