남대서양 침몰 스텔라데이지호 심해수색 내달말 착수
Search for the wreckage of a South Korean cargo ship, which is presumed to have sunk in the South Atlantic some 25-hundred kilometers east of Uruguay last year, is to be carried out early in 2019.
Seoul's foreign ministry said Friday that it's contracted Ocean Infinity, an American seabed intelligence firm, to search for the Stella Daisy, the cause of its sinking and the possible remains of 8 South Koreans missing from the incident.
The search will take place for 50 days starting the end of January next year,... and it's the first time a search on the vessel will be held since it presumably sank.
There were two Filipino sailors rescued, but a total of 22 people are still unaccounted for.
