Researchers in Vietnam looking to curb the spread of HIV/AIDS are feeling upbeat.
According to UPI, results of a new study show 'community based testing' successfully ID's HIV carriers.
The method of testing produced a higher HIV positivity rate than found through facility-based testing.
The study is a part of the United Nations' effort to end the HIV epidemic by 2020.
Study results indicate that one in 3 people in Vietnam with HIV don't know they have it.
