미중 무역협상 재개 소식에 코스피 사흘만에 반등
South Korean stocks recovered today on news that the U.S. and China will hold trade talks next week.
The benchmark KOSPI, after its lowest close in two years on Thursday, rose above the psychologically important 2-thousand level on Friday to close at 2-thousand-10,... a gain of 8-tenths of a percent.
Institutions bought shares worth more than 198 million dollars.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose by more than 1 percent to close at 6-hundred-64.
There were concerns that Korean stocks might take their cue from Wall Street and other markets... and close today in the red.
