ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಚಾಮುಂಡಿಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತನ್ನ ಯಾತ್ರಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಪುನರುಜ್ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಅಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮ ವೃದ್ಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ಅಭಿಯಾನ (ಪಿಆರ್‍ಎ ಎಸ್‍ಎಡಿ -ಪ್ರಸಾದ) ಅನ್ವಯ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ 100 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಿದೆ.

Chamundi Hills in Mysuru, which is turning into a concrete jungle at the top, has been identified for more development under the Union government’s Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual, Heritage Augmentation Drive (PRASAD).

The Center government has sanctioned Rs 100 crore for its pilgrimage revitalization and spiritual development plan (PRA-Aadhaar) to develop Chamundi Hills, which is attracts thousands of people everyday, as a spiritual center.
