'Surviving R. Kelly' Prompts
Criminal Investigation According to TMZ, R. Kelly is being investigated by the Fulton County District Attorney's Office in Georgia. The investigation will examine the allegations
made against the R&B singer in Lifetime's
recently released 6-part docuseries. Sources told TMZ that investigators have been contacting some of the survivors featured in
the documentary, including Asante McGee, who claims to have
escaped Kelly's home after being held captive. The family of Joycelyn Savage,
another alleged victim, is also
cooperating with authorities. The D.A.'s office has
yet to comment on
the investigation.
