South Korea's top sports body has issued a public apology for the recent spate of sexual abuse scandals involving sports stars and their coaches.
Lee Kee-heung, President of the Korean Sports and Olympic Committee, said.... the committee will permanently kick out those who've committed sexual crimes.
He also vowed to revamp the current system to strengthen punishment against perpetrators.
Lee also pledged to launch a comprehensive probe and offer greater support to the victims.
The apology comes amid a spate of sexual assault allegations raised by female athletes.
