Incredible footage was caught of iguanas in the Galapagos Islands swimming in their natural habitat, showing a grace not normally seen on land.
The clip, shot on November 13, shows the filmer getting up close and personal with the marine lizard in its natural habitat, with them calmy feeding and swimming despite the close proximity of the camera.
“These extraordinary creatures appear slow and clumsy on land but are extremely graceful and agile underwater when the large males dive into the ocean foraging for the algae that grow on the rocky bottom,” the filmer, Bartolomeo, told Newsflare.
