Ingredients
- 1 tbsp of ghee
- 2 shredded onions
- 1 tbsp of ginger paste
- 1 tbsp of garlic paste
- 2 tbsp of cashew nuts
- 1 tsp of red chilli powder
- 1 tsp of turmeric powder
- 1 tsp of shahi biryani masala
- 1 tbsp of coriander and cumin seed powder
- 4 tbsp of grated coconut
- few coriander leaves
- 2 cups of washed and soaked brown rice
- 1 chopped carrots
- 1 chopped potato
- 1 chopped and de seeded tomato
- few florets of cauliflower
- ¼ th cup green peas
- ¼ th cup chopped french beans
- 2 ½ cups of water
- 1 tbsp of ghee
- grated paneer
Method
- On an induction place the pan then heat some ghee, once the ghee is hot add onions and let the onions caramelized
- Add ginger paste, garlic paste and turn off the induction
- Add cashew nuts, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, shahi biryani masala, coriander and cumin seed powder, grated coconut and coriander leaves.
- Mix it all properly
- In the multi functional cooker add soaked brown rice, carrots, potato, tomato, florets of cauliflower, green peas, french beans, onion and coconut mixture,water, ghee and salt to taste
- Give it a stir and cover it
- Switch it on and keep it on cook mode for 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked
- Brown Rice Pulao is ready to be served.
