A touching video from northwestern China showed a caring puppy taking some food to its mum while its siblings wolfed down the rest of the bowl.

The clip, shot in Tongchuan City in Shaanxi Province on January 30, shows several stray puppies rushing to eat a bowl of food given by a kind-hearted person, while their mum stands nearby to watch them.

However, one puppy can be seen running to its mum and dropping one piece of the steamed bun for her from its mouth, before running back to continue to feed itself.
