Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi paid tribute to CRPF jawans killed in Pulwama terror attack by placing wreaths. Mortal remains of the jawans arrived at Palam airport in New Delhi on Friday. Union ministers Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore also laid wreaths on the mortal remains of the CRPF jawans. A Jaish suicide bomber on Thursday rammed a car packed with explosives into a CRPF convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. The CRPF has confirmed at least 40 deaths in the suicide bombing. The paramilitary force has ordered a full Court of Inquiry (CoI) into the Pulwama terror attack.
