President Moon Jae-in is holding a working lunch with representatives of Korea's seven main religious orders-- the second such meeting since 2017.
The Blue House says the lunch is designed to allow the president and religious leaders to boost national pride ahead of the 100th anniversary of the March First Independence Movement this year.
Leaders of the country's seven major religions including Christianity, Catholicism and Buddhism earlier this month called on the Korean people to join a commemorative event on March 1st to uphold the spirit of the movement.
Also today,... the president is likely to discuss ways to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the March First Independence Movement with his top aides during their weekly meeting.
