Will the North Korean leader visit a Samsung Electronics factory during his state visit to Vietnam?
According to Seoul-based Yonhap News Agency, Kim Jong-un's close aide and the director of North Korea's State Affairs Commission, Kim Chang-son, visited Samsung's smartphone factory in Vietnam's Bac Ninh province on Sunday.
Bac Ninh, located northeast of Hanoi, is the country's manufacturing base.
South Korea's Samsung Electronics built factories in this province and in the city of Thai Nguyen... to produce half of its smartphones in Vietnam.
If Kim Jong-un does take a look around the Samsung factory, the move would be seen as a message of his strong will towards economic development.

As Kim Chang-son is Pyeongyang's key official in charge of protocol, wherever he visits gets lots of attention as those places could end up being visited by the North's leader Kim Jong-un.
In addition to the Samsung factory, Kim Chang-son reportedly visited Vietnam's popular travel destination, Ha Long Bay,... and stopped by at the Hanoi Opera House.
The late former North Korean leader and Kim Jong-un's grandfather, Kim Il-sung, visited Ha Long Bay on his trip to Vietnam in 1964.

The North's protocol chief is also known to have visited Lang Son -- a Vietnamese city on the border with China, which has led to speculation that Kim Jong-un may travel to Vietnam by special train.
If he does, then he might come to Lang Son by train, and then travel to Hanoi by road.

Meanwhile, the logistics teams of Pyeongyang and Washington could have met each other for the first time on Sunday.
That... as Kim Chang-son stayed at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi for about an hour.
His U.S. counterpart, Daniel Walsh, who's the White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations... arrived in Hanoi on Saturday.
Reuters reports Kim Jong-un will arrive in Hanoi on February 25th, a couple of days early, ahead of the summit with President Trump.
