New 'James Bond' Movie
Faces Further Delays The 25th installment of the 'James Bond'
movie series has been pushed back to April 8, 2020. The film had previously been pushed to February 14, 2020 from its original release date of November 2019. The first delay was due to the departure of
director Danny Boyle. He left just 14 weeks
before principal photography was to begin. Speculation of “creative differences” between Boyle and actor Daniel Craig is said to have been the cause. Writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade,
who worked on previous Bond movies,
were then hired to rewrite Boyle’s script. The latest delay is
due to the hiring of writer Scott Z. Burns
to do more extensive script changes. It’s not yet determined if the production
start date of March 4, 2019 will change as well.
