The IPL will not have an opening ceremony this year after the Committee of Administrators (CoA) running Indian cricket Friday decided to allocate the money set aside for it to the families of the CRPF personnel killed in the Pulwama terror attack.The opening ceremonies of the cash-rich T20 league are a heady mix glitz and glamour with performances by Bollywood stars being the highlight.

पुलवामा हमले के बाद आगामी विश्वकप में भारत-पाक के बीच खेले जाने वाले मैच को लेकर बनी संशय की स्थिति साफ नहीं हो सकी है। सीओए और बीसीसीआई के बीच 22 फरवरी को हुई एक मीटिंग के दौरान यह फैसला लिया गया कि अब भारत-पाक विश्वकप में खेलेंगे या नहीं इस बात का फैसला सरकार करेगी। इसी बीच इस मीटिंग में एक बड़ा फैसला आईपीएल के सीजन-12 को लेकर किया गया है। इस सीजन के आईपीएल में ओपनिंग सेरेमनी का कार्यक्रम नहीं होगा और इस सेरेमनी की बचत का पैसा शहीद जवानों के परिवारों को दिया जाएगा।
