Meltdown on 'Empire' Set
Over Jussie Smollett Howard was so upset he refused to come out of his trailer for most of the day on Feb. 22, Smollett turned himself in to Chicago Police earlier in the day. Smollett is facing felony charges for staging an attack and filing a false police report. Howard allegedly never believed Smollett's story and urged him to come clean. There was tension between the two after Abel and Ola Osundario, who reportedly helped Smollett stage the attack, were detained. Howard has since come to the defense of Smollett on social media, saying, "We love the hell outta you." Smollett addressed the 'Empire'
cast and crew on Thursday, but
Howard was not in attendance. Smollett was removed by producers from the final two episodes of the show.
